We pride ourselves on cohesion, knowledge and professional pride of our team. The company Rodrigues & Almeida, Lda., Was incorporated on January 1, 1956, then having as object (auto-industrial-maritima) mechanical repairs, panel beating and auto painting.
Attentive to the industrial development of the region and the new needs of the market also began to run jobs naval and industrial boilers and industrial metal roofing.
In the beginning of the 70's played with the new patch needs of the market, due to the appearance of aluminum profiles, for the manufacture of exterior frames of buildings. Thus, he devoted himself to this new activity, which was pioneered in the region. The success was such that the company's managers at the time, decided to abandon the traditional mechanical repairs, panel beating and painting self in favor of increased production of steel structures, aluminum window frames and naval / industrial boilers.
This new evolutionary phase is completed within a business perspective and futuristic, with the implementation of the activity of pickling and plating of iron for steel shot and projected zinc hot.
The recognized installed technological capacity, served by a labor-work of great quality will allow cross the end of the 70s with stability and loyal customers. The structural changes due April / 74 were well interpreted and the solutions taken in the face of new socio-political reality, will help overcome the period without loss of competitiveness.
In the beginning of the 80s the company is sold in favor of current management, which defined as a priority strategic objective, the acquisition of the land border to the premises in order to expand the area covered. This expansion would regroup section frames of aluminum, which due to the heavy demand of the market had developed as a separate initial production unit and further expansion would enable the boiler section.
This goal was achieved, with the year 1985 the year of the cruise investment expansion and reunification.

In 1991 it was expanded and semi-automated section pickling and plating.
From 1994 to give up early replacement of equipment for the manufacture of window frames and aluminum structures cycle, still proceeding to the internal reorganization of the warehouse and the mechanical section.
